The job
The block drive had faded, sunk in places and lost its joints. They wanted the whole thing lifted and re-laid in a fresh, modern grey block.
What we did
We lifted the old blocks and dug down to formation, rebuilt and compacted the sub-base, and screeded a sharp-sand bed. New grey tumbled blocks were laid across the full drive with the edge restraints set, then jointed with kiln-dried sand, brushed in and compacted.
The result
A fresh, modern grey block drive on a properly rebuilt base — clean lines, stable joints, and a generous parking area that resets the front of the house.
