The job
A newly done-up house needed a drive and approach from scratch. They wanted a warm brindle finish with a dark border to frame it.
What we did
We prepared and levelled the ground, set and haunched the edge restraints, and screeded a sharp-sand bed over the compacted sub-base. Brindle blocks were laid in stretcher bond with a charcoal soldier course and double-row edge marking out the drive and the path alongside the house. Joints sanded, brushed in and compacted.
The result
A warm brindle drive with a clean charcoal border — new parking and a tidy approach that finishes off the front of the house.
