The job

A large, overgrown back garden the owners wanted turned into a clean, usable lawn — green all year, with no mowing, mud or upkeep.

What we did

We cleared the garden, took out the old growth and felled timber and levelled the ground, then built a proper base: a compacted sub-base blinded with sharp sand, screeded level and consolidated with a plate compactor. The grass was rolled out, joined, trimmed neatly to the boundaries, and pinned down taut.

The result

A large, hard-wearing lawn that stays green and tidy the year round — usable in all weathers, with none of the mowing or mud of the old garden.
